Independence Single Malt Whiskey has launched their single malt to the market today. A triple distilled single malt Irish Whiskey, initially matured in American Bourbon barrels then finished in Irish Imperial Stout Casks, which impart a rounded flavour to the whiskey.
This is the first offering from new whiskey brand Independence Irish Whiskey. Bottled at 40/7%, the stout cask finished expression is currently only available as an exclusive offering from the Loop retail in Dublin Airport it will also expand distribution to the US and wider Europe.
Tasting Notes from Independence Irish Whiskey:
Nose:
The sweet yet woody finish results in a nose packed with notes of chocolate, tonka bean, blackberry, and oatmeal.
Palate:
Our spirit’s approachable palate is ripe in dried fruits, mocha, cinnamon, and cream.
Finish:
Resulting in a perfect rounded flavour and smooth finish with subtle afternotes of toasted coffee grounds.
